The first room of the Pavillons de Bercy created in 1996, Le Musée des Arts Forains retracts the spirit of the carousel-salons.
Behind an imposing, richly carved facade, a luxurious and vast covered salon housed an organ, a ballroom, a brasserie, attractions and a carousel.
Everything here is designed to make you relive the warm atmosphere of these convivial places.
Passing through the theatre curtains, the visitor enters a stage that recreates the interior of a carousel-lounge, where he becomes an actor.
At the entrance to the Museum, he is invited to enter the museum.
At the entrance to the museum, he is greeted by two majestic statues and an organ from 1905.
The design of this room is also ahomage to the Baroque, drawing from the Art Forain the pieces most representative of the whimsical and lush atmosphere of this style.
